Dear antinuclear friends,
The dutch-german coalition against nuclear weapons that has been formed
again this year during the protest-camp in Büchel is planning to take
the protest to its equivalent in the Netherlands: Volkel.
On the occasion of the Nuclear Abolition Day on September 26th as a
group of activists we are planning a bike tour from Düsseldorf to
Volkel. Starting on Friday the 25th we will reach Venlo in the late
afternoon, from where we will head to our final destination the next
day. During this ride of approximately 150 km we plan to have several
stops in small towns alongside the route to inform people about our
mission and raise awareness.
In Volkel actions of protest will take place on Saturday, celebrating
Nuclear Abolition Day.
